Sarah and Nate are one of my amazing 2017 wedding couples and I am beyond excited for their late-fall wedding! Their engagement session was nothing short of perfect as they were so loving toward one another, despite the insane mosquitos! Their positive attitudes and kind spirits made me fall in love with them as a couple even more and I couldn’t be more honored that they chose me to document their love.
We also had a little cameo from Sarah’s son, playfully nicknamed, Bean, and I saw firsthand a glimpse into why Sarah loves Nate so much. Their family unite was so beautiful and I loved every minute with them.
Here are a few words from Sarah about her and Nate’s love story:
“Nate and I met on a Tigers bus trip in July of 2015. We became friends that night but didn’t start officially dating until November 7th of that year. We found that we had a lot of weird things in common such as: we’re both middle children with an older brother and younger sister, we were born three weeks apart in October, we both have little sisters that went to U of M and played saxophone, we have both always had dreams about having twin boys (weird one lol), we both got our fake IDs from the same place in Toronto, our favorite taco bell sauce is “hot”, and at the time I used mans deodorant and he used womans. Nate is the kindest person in the world and I got to see how nuturing and accepting he was with Bean and that is what made me fall in love with him. He teaches me to approach things from a different stance and take an empathetic approach to situations which is hard for me to do at times. He makes me a better person and he is a wonderful man for Bean to look up to.”
